Hello Families!!! Welcome back, we hope everyone had a great and relaxing Labor Day weekend. This past week we learned about the five sense Hearing, Seeing, Tasting, Smelling and Touching. We also reviewed our body parts, feelings and our names, we pretty much reviewed our whole All About Me theme since this is the last week we will focus on it. We will still continue talking about ourselves throughout the whole school year, but we will incorporate it with other themes. So, the children learned about the 5 senses and which body parts we use to for our senses. They also put their senses to use, we practiced using one sense at a time and all senses at once. We read books about our senses and used our senses when preparing sandwiches for lunch. In Math we reviewed matching items by colors and also started matching items by shapes.

This week our theme will be based on the old folk tale The Little Red Hen. Until next week =)

Hola familias!! Bienvenido, esperamos que el fin de semana largo le estuvo relajante. Esta semana pasada revisamos los cinco sentidos escuchando, viendo, probando, oliendo y tocando. También revisamos las partes del cuerpo, sentimientos y nuestros nombres, revisamos todo el tema de todo sobre yo, como ya esta es la ultima semana que vamos a enfocarnos en este tema. Vamos a seguir incorporando todo sobre yo todo el año pero en otros temas. Entonces, aprendimos los cinco sentidos y que parte del cuerpo usamos para los sentidos. Practicamos como usar un sentido y todos a la vez. Leemos libros de los sentidos y hasta usamos los sentidos cuando hicimos sandwiches en el almuerzo. En matemática revisamos como emparejar objetos por color y también empezamos a emparejar objetos por forma.
